Facilitation and Workshops
Facilitating Growth Through
Therapy & Education
With a diverse background in both clinical and educational settings, I specialise in facilitating therapeutic and educational groups. In addition to counselling, I offer workshops and facilitation for workplaces, schools and organisations. From my foundation as a registered high school teacher and training in narrative therapy, I integrate educational principles with therapeutic techniques to create meaningful, transformative experiences for all participants.
In therapeutic group settings, I utilise evidence-based approaches to provide support and enhance wellbeing. My priority is creating a safe, empathetic space where participants can explore challenges, recognise strengths and develop practical coping strategies.
Therapeutic Groups
I lead a variety of workshops, including a series of educational and therapeutic group sessions aimed at stress reduction, self-care, emotional regulation, wellness, and post-traumatic growth in a supportive and safe environment. These sessions are designed to foster personal growth within a therapeutic group setting.
Supporting Professional Growth and Development
Additionally, I offer workshops for organisations and allied health professionals, (for example, to support those working with challenging and complex issues such as acquired brain injuries, etc.)
My workshops provide tools drawn from Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Mindful Self-Compassion, somatic practices, and parts work. The goal is to help practitioners approach their work with compassion, equipping them with practical skills to assist clients in transitioning from emotional dysregulation to stability. The workshops also explore strategies to foster strong, collaborative partnerships between clients and practitioners, and, importantly, include methods for preventing practitioner compassion fatigue.
Topics Include:
Mental health and well-being in the workplace
Stress management and emotional regulation
Trauma-informed practice
Self-compassion and mindfulness skills
Preventing and recovering from compassion fatigue
